Helping the fight one Stride at a time

Cancer, it impacts every one of us and sometimes we don't even know it. I never thought Cancer could destroy my family, but it did. On May 26th, 2005 my mother, Tracee Hauger, lost her 3 year battle with breast cancer. She was just 3 days shy of turning 46. Cancer knows no bounds.

After suffering this great loss, I began to look around and I came to realize I was not the only one. Cancer is everywhere. I found a problem and I desired a solution. That solution was born the day Strides Against Cancer was born. With the help of friends touched by this disease we were able to put on an open horse show that benefits our local Tri-Cities Cancer Center. This event is the equine communities opportunity to step up to the challenge that faces our loved ones battling Cancer.

We are out to create hope, hope for a cure. My mother who was an avid equestrian would be so proud of what has been able to be accomplished. Each year we are able to donate more money to the Tri Cities Cancer Center. We cannot do this alone. With your assistance we can make a difference for those we love fighting the uphill battle with cancer.
